Mary was always an inspiration to whoever came into contact with her, either by work, music, songwriting or stories and poems. She always had such enthusiasm when working on projects and this rubbed off on the people around her. I thought she was very talented and this showed on whatever challenge she took on.

As a songwriter I first met Mick and Mary over 30 years ago when they helped me record some of my songs that I had written. We later formed our own Band and played some gigs together, Mary on Bass guitar/vocals along with Ken Smith also on vocals, Mick on rhythm guitar and myself on lead guitar. We had some great times and laughs, so it was sad when they sold their house and moved to the Isle of Wight in 2009. Mick and Mary were a great team and both worked very hard together when they lived on the island and it's hard to believe they are no longer with us.

Mary is at peace now Bless her and I like to think reunited with Mick, so looking at the photos I will always have fond memories of them both.
